Urban Escape wins the Micro-Business Award at the Telstra Business Awards 2014
On Thursday 7 August at a full and buzzing Gala Dinner at the Palladium at Crown, Urban Escape Hair was crowned the National Winner of the 2014 Micro-Business Award at the 2014 National Telstra Business Awards.
After the win at state level, this was truly a surprise and an opportunity that means so much to the salon and the future of Craig’s dream to create a “scalable business which would change the perception of what some people consider to be a cottage industry”.
This is the first time a hair salon has won in the prestigious business awards.
The award is phenomenal in so many ways, but above all means that the driving dream of fusing care of the environment, the guest and future sustainability is being recognised outside of our salon doors.
We thank all of friends, family and of course our loyal guests who make us love our job so much. Like Craig says, “each day is like my birthday”.
